Xiaomi Nepal Contributes NPR 2 Million Support to Flood and Landslide Victims

Kathmandu : Xiaomi Nepal has extended financial assistance of NPR 2 million for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of people affected by the devastating floods and landslides triggered by the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Bhadra 10, 2083. The financial support will be deposited into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, aimed at providing immediate relief and assistance to affected communities.

The disastrous floods and landslides caused significant loss of life and property across several areas, affecting many families. A representative from Xiaomi Nepal said that the contribution reflects its belief that standing with affected communities during such difficult times is a shared responsibility, and that the gesture is part of the company's broader humanitarian commitment.

The support amount was jointly handed over to the Hon. Finance Minister by Sanjay Agrawal, by the Executive Director of Ramesh Corp; Nitesh Kumar Mundra, Director of Vatsal Impex; and Dinesh Rai, Sales and Distribution Head of Xiaomi Nepal. During the program, the representatives expressed their sympathy to the families and communities affected by the disaster and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the government’s ongoing relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

Calling it a responsibility to support affected communities during this challenging period, Xiaomi Nepal expressed hope that the contribution would strengthen ongoing relief and rescue efforts.
